The Legatus

The Legatus is Alexander PCs Flagship, Tier 2 Elite Level gaming build. Like all the models in our lineup, it’s purpose built - and in this case that purpose is gaming. This one is the top of the line for our main model gaming series, so we felt like it had to be a feast for the eyes and also throw down serious gaming horsepower. We wanted to build around the NVidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti series for this one, since it’s the best available video card tech on the market today. We’re building on an MSI MPG X570 Gaming PRO Carbon WiFi for this one, and it pairs perfectly with the 2080 Ti. Any game on the market, good to go at high frame rates for your buttery smooth gaming pleasure. Of course we included our company favorite SSD setup as well - the 4th Generation PCIe NVMe M.2 configuration (that you can only get on an AMD platformed build) featuring data transfer speeds up to 5,000 MB/s. We’ve chosen the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X and its 12 cores/24 threads at speeds up to 4.6 GHz for this system, and paired it with… 32GB of none other than Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 RAM in a 4 x 8 setup to make sure we filled every available DIMM slot with pretty lights. Even though the Ryzen 9 comes with a nice stock cooler, we have to ditch it for this build and call in an all-in-one liquid cooling solution featuring, you guessed it, 3 RBG 120mm fans to ensure the CPU stays cool, quiet, and very well lit. To make sure there’s plenty of extra efficient power for all these awesome components, we went with a 1000-watt 80 Plus Platinum rated unit. Finally, we opted for a Lian Li PC-011 Dynamic chassis for this one. It’s the perfect stage to show off the RBG smorgasbord. With everything looking so colorful and shiny, stock cables would be a big time party foul, so we add some custom cable extensions - how could we not? The Legatus comes with Windows 10 Home 64-bit edition installed and updated.
